Nervenaufreibend geht es in Philipp Müller-Dorns Thriller-Komödie "Between your Legs" zu. Ein mysteriöer Killer macht New York unsicher. In unterirdischen Gängen und Schächten erwürgt er junge Mädchen mit einem roten Halstuch. Ein junges Paar, das wenig Geld hat, will den Gangster überführen, um das Kopfgeld zu kassieren. Müller-Dorn hält bis zur letzten Minute Hochspannung.

Its not what you expect.
The plight of the wayward dream seekers comes to full tilt in this comedic saga of urban achievement. Seth and Jill are a young couple torn between their love for each other and their love of the notion of the "perfect" Manhattan life. Both openly dream of leaving their Brooklyn brownstone for a slice of the infamous "212" area code and all it’s jaded glamour, and realize that no effort is too risky and no attempt is too small. Jill is a struggling actress who will use her acute acting ability in her desperate attempt at landing an apartment. Along with her brigade Jackie and Tony, the trio embark on a pathway of bribery and attempted murder in their quest for city living. Seth, an aspiring writer, takes a more mature approach until the chance to catch a notorious "Subway Strangler" becomes the $400,000 light at the end of his real estate tunnel.
Between Your Legs takes you on a cinematic roller coaster ride through the streets of NYC with as many comedic twists as their are dramatic turns. Director Philipp Mueller-Dorn offers a clever and visually stimulating film with tight dialogue and witty and poignant remarks on life and all its tumultuous turns.
Seth and Jill set out on a trail way of adventure, intrigue, passion, and comedic hyjinx in the Philipp Mueller-Dorn feature, "Between Your Legs". Seth, played by Andy Haueter, is a disgruntled writer/waiter tired of the incessant nag of Brooklyn life and the chronic nag of his girlfriend Jill (Roxanne Doyle). Their torrid relationship is put to the brink by Jill’s obsession with the allure and excitement of Manhattan. The two join forces in a series of witty attempts to land a Big Apple brownstone.
Jill and her friends, Jackie and Tony(Alithea Hages and Christopher Livsey) go about apartment hunting using routine measures, but as luck fails to greet them, they realize that resorting to more unique methods is the only surefire way. They bribe doormen, frighten tenants, and befriend the elderly in hopes of landing their apartment upon impending death. Seth on the other hand spends his every waking and sleeping moment in the concrete sub terrain of New York’s subway system on a manhunt for an infamous strangler and a money hunt for the handsome reward. Between Your Legs is a refreshingly inventive, well paced slice of independent cinema, superbly acted and visually alluring. Written, produced, and directed by Philipp Mueller Dorn, Between Your Legs is a uniquely plotted drama with a comically adventurous twist, placing it in a genre all its own.
